If you could un-invent something, what would it be?
I’d rather adjust to the new reality than wish the change didn’t happen. From the Stone Age to the Information and now Intelligence ages, there’s been tons of positive changes, even with some drawbacks. Looking back, it’s amazing to see just how far we’ve come in such a relatively short amount of time – it’s clearly been a giant leap forward for humanity. If pressed, I’d probably say the Apple iPhone. It’s amazing at letting people customize everything, right? But it’s not just about personalization, it’s about this whole lifestyle that it promotes, which makes it kind of isolating. It feels like it breaks down human connection and makes life feel a little less real.
