Two young ladies have been arrested along the road in Enugu state
– The ladies were reportedly arrested by police officers for indecent dressing
– It was gathered that the officers took the ladies off the street into their police van
The story was shared on Igboist group by a Facebook user who witnessed the incident at Garrison area of Enugu.
In the post, the Facebook user identified as Ahala Uchenna shared photos of the ladies and the officers as they were being taken into the police van.

Another user Nonso Nwagu wrote: “Police arrested two ladies today at Garrison for indecent dressing. Is anything wrong with their dressing.”
One of the ladies arrested was seen wearing a short blue jean skirt and a white sweatshirt while the other was seen wearing a short black and white dress.

Some Nigerians who read the post on Facebook lauded the officers for arresting the girls while claiming that indecent dressing causes unrest.
Other Nigerians, however, expressed that arresting people dressing indecently is not the job of police officers. They asked them to do their jobs.
