No reasons were advanced by Mr Mohammed other than to state that he regarded Buhari to be his father and therefore entitled to the best treatment.
One, he is somebody’s father but elected president of the country and accountable to the people of Nigeria.
Second, the total yearly sums allocated to Aso Rock medical clinic is more than the allocations to all the Teaching hospitals in Nigeria. And yet that does not elevate that clinic to a better facility worthy of treating Mr Mohammed’s father, Buhari.
Three, nobody forced the President to issue an executive order that no foreign treatments would or should be accorded civil servants and he is a civil servant as president. He breached his own rule.
This means no valid reasons have been advanced by Mr Mohammed.
