Where would you go on a shopping spree?
“Man shall not live by bread alone” this is a biblical injunction and bread includes shopping sprees. I will go shopping but not on a spree. The local market and corner shop not just for bread but interactions with others.

These verses sound less like “we’re better than everyone” and more like:
“Your class got picked to be the hall monitor team—not because you’re cooler, but because you’re supposed to behave better and help keep things fair.”
So if a bully shows up at recess, the modern version isn’t “we’re chosen so we win,” but:
“You don’t get to push people around here. Not because we’re special, but because this playground runs on rules, and someone’s got to stand up and say ‘nope.’” 🎸
