that is a grest but flawed analogy and over simplified. I can find a positive spin on most anything but the fact remains it is a man made concept designed to control. If it were not there would only be one.
If we had a world without religion, we would have to invent. It sets human behavioural boundaries and standards. Like every human endeavour, its subject to abuse but its usefulness is overwhelmingly good for most people and most time. As a way forward, it’s best left to the private domain
As the US gun lobby like to say, it’s not the gun that kills, people do. Conversely religion doesn’t promote these things you have mentioned, people do. I suggest we take the baby out of the bathwater, religion in of its self don’t do these things but stop people who do.

Man made concept with zero value to mankind. Promoting more killing , hatred, and division than any organization on earth.
