Don’t Overcome, Accommodate.

What’s a fear you’ve overcome — and how did you do it?

A hunter without fear is a lion’s dinner. Fear is God’s way of warning us of danger. It’s not something to overcome but rather to accommodate and use as your GPS for what to avoid.

Aníkúlápó a Yoruba phase meaning “I have death in my back pocket” death is fearsome and you can’t run away from death, so you accommodate death, fear of death in your back pocket, you contain the fear, you accommodate for death, it’s in your back pocket.
