Gowon was overthrown while in Uganda and left to the UK from there. How could he have emptied the coffers of the CBN from Uganda post office. The Tory chose the wrong example to showcase his preconceived notion of the country.
The current situation in Nigeria does not need further war fronts to be opened with a lie. Did Gowon steal from the Nigerian state, neither I or the Tory know. Was Gowon a fine leader of Nigeria, our history will judge him once we begin to teach history in our schools.
